B. Carol Flack

PT, Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM)®, L. Ac. (Illinois), Cert. DN, Yoga Alliance: RYT 200, CMLDT-Vodder Method, Prior: TCFHI Certified Tai Chi Instructor.

B Carol Flack is a physical therapist, Illinois-licensed and NCCAOM-certified, acupuncturist, and music therapist.
For the majority of her 20+ year profession, she has treated patients with a wide variety of diagnoses and ages. An underlying theme for the entirety of her practice has been successful treatment of pain (and especially chronic pain) within a wellness perspective.  Manual, neuromuscular, and awareness-oriented gentle, iterative ADL and body weight activity treatment techniques, largely derived from both osteopathic manual therapies, and movement studies in yoga, taijiquan, and therapeutic dance, have shaped her approach.  The past 3 years, her focus has been primarily on adult pelvic health and non-invasive recovery strategies such as Upledger CranioSacral Therapy, Stiles Functional Technique, and Barral Visceral Manipulation.  Recently she has been drawn to help children, and to hopefully prevent the kinds of chronic postural and pelvic health concerns, often found in adults with severe and chronic pelvic conditions.  To this end, Carol is currently taking pediatric pelvic health coursework from Dawn Sandalcidi.
In her spare time, Carol enjoys figure-skating, dance, yoga, sewing, cooking, and hiking with friends and family.
